Arte para la Cocina April, 2009. Our first project was to give away art--just to remind everyone that the refrigerator is a perfect spot for a home art gallery. Three original art works printed on a poster informing the community of upcoming programs (above), with complimentary magnet (right). When the events were over, folks cut out the artwork and attached them to their refrigerators, metal cabinets--anywhere in the home. Funded by El Paso Museum and Cultural Affairs Department, via a grant to Roberto Salas, who coordinated the project with us.
